FLOATING PLANKS
Easy to install, and long lasting
Floating Floor Planks are designed to last for an extended period of time and it is less expensive than traditional hardwood flooring. One great feature is that it is insolated and typically warmer than traditional hardwood flooring, due to the pad underlayment.
The disadvantage to floating flooring is it is factory designed with a sealant, of which in most cases, cannot be refinished. In the event of extensive damage; floating floors require far less labor and are easy to uninstall, as opposed to nail or glue down flooring.
While evaluating and pricing out floating flooring; remember to include the cost of the moisture barrier underlayment, to protect it from humidity.
